'I'm offended': MAFS' Domenica Calarco claps back at single question she's been asked (2025)

Married At First Sight's Domenica Calarco has clapped back after receiving "offensive" comments about her pregnancy body online.

In particular, one concerning question she's been asked.

The expectant mum, 31, shared a glowing update at 24 weeks pregnant as she prepares to "solo parent" her first child.

Taking to her 496,000 fans on Instagram, there was one thing she needed to get off her chest first.

Hear what Dom had to say in the video above.

"She's growing, this girl is growing," Dom revealed as she cradled her baby bump in a candid video.

"I know people have a lot to say about how small my bump is and how tiny I am, which I think I need to do a whole video on, because I have an issue with people that keep telling me that I'm so tiny," she explained.

Filming in her future nursery room, Dom went on to say she had an issue with people "telling me that my bump's so small and keep asking me if the baby is OK".

"Like I'm offended by that when I get asked that question," she said.

The Season 9 bride said it was something she wanted to dive further into with a separate video.

Sharing the update however, she added: "24 week #OOTD and rant about people saying whatever they want about women's pregnant bodies; what's with that?!?!"

At the earlier stages of her pregnancy, Dom revealed she was hospitalised twice since falling pregnant due to "serious" thyroiditis.

She said the health struggles also explained her sudden weight loss at the time.

"I lost six kilos and feel like a shell of myself right now, so trying to put on weight and eat as much as I can while I still don't really have an appetite... it's a journey," she said at 15 weeks.

According to the Royal Children's Hospital, thyroiditis is inflammation or swelling of the thyroid gland. Thankfully, Dom's thyroiditis went down.

At the time, Dom also revealed she didn't feel confident being online as she was "scared of being judged" for her weight loss.

She's certainly not afraid to speak up now – with what it seems, the full support of fans.

"Your bump is beautiful, you are beautiful, ignore the outside noises!" commented one follower.

"My bump was exactly the same with my baby girl until last minute! Don't let people worry you, she will be perfect," wrote another. 

"Are people really telling you that? 😩 The size of your bump does not indicate the health of your baby..." pointed out a third. "Every single pregnancy carries differently, so this 'one size fits all' mentality is annoying.

"Your bump is beautiful. You are beautiful. 💗"

Dom first revealed her heartfelt pregnancy news in March 2025.

While she didn't reveal any further details about her pregnancy at the time, Dom confirmed she would be "co-parenting" with the baby's father.

"I am incredibly excited about this next chapter in my life and feel truly empowered by my decision to step into motherhood on my own terms," she shared.

"While I will be welcoming this baby as a solo parent, I am grateful to have the support of the father in a co-parenting capacity."
